Police: Jealous man punched girlfriend’s cat to death

 

PASADENA, Texas — Pasadena police say a man was so jealous of his girlfriend’s cat that he punched hitting it with his fist.

The 7-month-old cat died.

Nathan Aubrey was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.

The whole thing started last week when the couple got into an argument.

She grabbed her cat and tried to leave their apartment in the 2200 block of Harris.

Police said Nathan Aubrey, 23, was so mad that he hit the cat.

“He told officers that he had become angry at the cat because his girlfriend loved on the cat more than she loved on him,” Pasadena Police Department spokesman Vance Mitchell told the Pasadena Citizen.

Aubrey is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

I don’t know about I you, but as soon as the fireworks are extinguished at the beginning of July, I’m ready to haul out the Hallowe’en decorations.
